Skilled Laborer

  • Travel to residential, commercial or industrial properties and perform various tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Assisting craftsmen
    • Unloading/loading materials and tools
    • Digging, back filling, mixing concrete
    • Setting up the job site
    • Keeping job site orderly throughout the work day
    • Cleaning job site and surrounding area at the end of the day
    • Perform any other duties, as assigned by a supervisor

You must be able to:

  • Walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Lift, move, and handle material and tools, not to exceed 100 lbs.
  • Work at heights and in hot and/or inclement weather
  • Perform strenuous labor, often under adverse conditions
  • Consistently arrive to work site on time and ready to work
 

Normal work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

This is an hourly position, with expected starting pay of $12 to $15 per hour depending on experience.

Skilled Carpenter

  • MUST HAVE MINIMUM 5 YEARS RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
  • Travel to residential, commercial or industrial properties and perform various tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Properly utilize tape measure, framing square, level, plumb-bob, string line, etc to ensure that builds are plumb, level and square
    • Properly utilize speed square and tape measure to ensure that cuts are straight and tight
    • Properly utilize square and/or angle finder to ensure that cut angles are correct and tight
    • Properly and safely utilize hand and power tools
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blue prints
    • Ability to work without the need for direct supervision; must be a self-starter
    • Ability to complete projects correctly and efficiently, the first time, while maintaining schedule
    • Ability to apply shop mathematics to solve problems
    • Ability to lead and properly utilize laborers to ensure production remains on schedule

Drywall – Hang, Tape, Float, Texture and Paint

Framework – Building, Fence/Deck Erection

Concrete – Build Forms and Set Rebar; Occasionally mix, pour and skim to final product

Be familiar with proper build codes and procedures as outlined in IBC and IRC

You must be able to:
